Made by Hand Show is returning to Mississauga
PRESS RELEASE: MISSISSAUGA, October 15, 2012 – The Made by Hand Show will once again call Mississauga home as they host the third Made by Hand Show (Fall Edition) on Saturday October 27, 2012 at the International Centre, Hall 6 in Mississauga.
“We are striving to be Mississauga’s largest craft show – this fall we are featuring just over 190 quality Canadian handmade exhibitors. It’s a show that celebrates all things handmade.” Jacqueline Hunter, Show Manager.
With over 35,000 square feet of shopping and over 190 quality handmade exhibitors, this is a one-stop shopping experience not to be missed. There is something for everyone in every media: original artwork, baby/toys, body, candles, clothing, ceramics, fashion accessories, jewellery, photography, knitting, pottery, paper goods, wood and a range of gourmet goodies.
It’s a family filled day – free face-painting, balloons, crafts, door prizes, raffles and thousands of one-of-a–kind gift ideas.
Admission is only $2.00 (children free) with proceeds benefits Crafting for a Cure (www.craftingforacure.ca), a not-for-profit registered charity that looks for opportunities to ensure children are having a positive experience when a hospital visit is necessary.
The Made by Hand Show offers the first 100 families a free swag bag filled with goodies from their vendors and sponsors. Doors open at 11:00am and will close at 5:00pm. Line up early for first pick of the amazing arts and crafts, while supporting your local handmade artists.
