Made by Hand is a company that supports, showcases and promotes Canadian artists, artisans and designers. As of 2013, we host three showcases a year (Spring/Fall/Christmas editions), assisting local artists with an affordable way to promote and showcase their work. We also share tips, vendor of the week postings and more.

The Made by Hand Show is a showcase of all things handmade, it's a large craft show showcasing over 150 handmade exhibitiors. It is a one-stop shopping experience not to be missed. There is something for everyone in every media: original artwork, baby/toys, body, candles, clothing, ceramics, fashion accessories, jewellery, photography, knitting, pottery, paper goods, wood and a range of gourmet goodies. ONCE UPON A TIME ...
My name is Jacqueline Hunter, the show manager and the face behind Made by Hand. I work full-time, and have always had a passion for the handmade arts. In 2006, I took an embossing class at Micheals and discovered a hidden talent. From there I began designing and making handmade greeting cards. In 2007 I decided to take my new-found hobby to local craft shows and craft fairs. I have participated in over 50 different craft shows both large and small. After participating in a variety of craft shows, I started to become disappointed in the way some of these shows were organized and the lack of shows in the Greater Toronto Area, in particular Mississauga.
We decided to expand on my passion for the handmade arts and put my years of experience as a vendor to use. In May 2011 “Made by Hand” was launched and our first showcase was held on November 5th, 2011. It was a huge success.

To date, we have raised close to $5000 in support of our charity partner, Crafting for a Cure.
